It's just over a year now since Ralph Coutts, who had a mission to work and campaign to make the world a better place for nature died on the coastal path between Elliot and East Haven. I didn't know Ralph well, and wish I had gotten to know him better. It's encouraging to see that his friends are continuing the work he started in St Vigeans.
The plaque below has been placed at the site of his death and another in St Vigeans, RIP.
A true Conservationist
Yellow Wagtail, near Hatton Works, south of East Haven
Linnet at East Haven
Raising a new family certainly takes it out of some Robins, part loss of condition and part moulting
Mario (Super no doubt) the bull. To be fair there are a lot of cows in the field with him, and all will seek his attentions
