Painted Lady, Red Admiral and a Pied Wagtail with a yellow face

 
Probably the last decent photos and video of this year's of butterflies. I think I'll be drawn into ducks and geese from now, the Pink-footed Geese arrived later than usual but in large numbers and a Ring-necked Duck (drake) has been found today by Dan Pointon. Dan also reported that it looks like the adult drake Surf Scoter at Kinnaber has re-located to Lunan Bay as expected.
