Larks ascending, Goldfinches bathing, Wagtails wagging.

An enforced trip to East Haven, Olive needed transport to her hairdresser and I didn't have time to wander far. Nothing unusual photographed, but I did see 11 Barnacle Geese fly north, perhaps from the small populations of of non-migrating birds to the south.

The Lark Ascending, click here

Perhaps under-rated, because they're not often seen close, but everyone will hear them, Skylarks

This pair flew in together

Unusually unwary, near to the coastal path

Female Reed Bunting

Male Reed Bunting

Whitethroat within the village boundary at East Haven, it surfaced from a bush looking a bit wabbit

Female Linnet, init!

A Goldfinch, fresh from having a bath in a ditch

Pied Wagtail on the railway fence

A Buzzard, some distance away, near to the Sewage Works

The field at Hatton is now housing Cattle, Sheep, and a few lambs
