Murton Wood Sandpiper, Lurgies Yellowhammers

A Wood Sandpiper found by Anne at Murton had moved to an almost impossible position at the far end of the car park pools (Wetlands, currently not very wet). It was in a depression and filmed into the light and haze.

The rest of the photos were from the Lurgies at Montrose Basin, with two Yellowhammers to finish with, now almost resident in my garden.

A heat haze affected photo of a distant Wood Sandpiper at Murton NR on Monday 13/5/2025

Roe Buck, looks like a scene from a jigsaw. (Goosanders crudely pasted in as the original Roe was out of focus)

and not to be outdone, also in Olive's garden
