Spotted Redshank, Curlew Sandpipers and Great Egrets

I kinda hoped/expected a Spotted Redshank to turn up at Maryton Ditch on Friday, and a juvenile did turn up after the many Redshanks did, then fly off upstream before most of them. During the wait I had found the long staying Great Egret and was pleased to see a second one land on the roost.
Also 12 Curlew Sandpipers were feeding downstream from my viewpoint, and they mostly progressed up and past me, then were flushed by something.

Later I had the same problem at Rossie Spit when a vehicle back-fired three times on the nearby A92 and everything moved even further away.
I did film some of the waders, most were Redshanks, a few Knot, and a rather obvious Black-tailed Godwit with 6 colour rings.

I'll try to get the colours and sequence from screen grabs from the video I had filmed, showing just how far away I can film with my Nikon Coolpix P1000 in good light and on a tripod.

Pink-footed Goose, I didn't count them but wouldn't be surprised if there were 10,000 plus

Still some Canada Geese around
